This week, Pastor Donnie shared a powerful message titled “You’ve Been Sealed” from Ephesians 1:13-14. He pointed out that the Holy Spirit isn’t something passed down from family or given by another person — it’s received the moment you truly believe in Jesus. When you surrender your heart to Him, you are sealed by the Holy Spirit — a mark that you belong to God. That seal means you are His property, redeemed and secured for eternity. The Holy Spirit is God’s promise — a “down payment” for heaven and a constant presence in our lives today. He is our guide when we’re uncertain, our comforter when we’re hurting, and our hope in a world that feels unsteady. One day, God will return to take full possession of what’s already His. Until then, we live confidently, sealed by His Spirit and secure in His love.
