Not My Will, but Yours, Lord

Easter never would've happened if it were up to us. Like the disciples, if we had been present, we would not have understood why Jesus was going through what he was going through; in fact, we would have been praying against it. However, God's plan is faultless, and just before Jesus was crucified, He prayed for His Father to be exalted through His sacrifice. Jesus desired to fulfill God's divine plan to redeem us all from sin, even though He knew what He would have to endure. Thank you, Lord, that we serve a risen Savior who has conquered death!
